Zsnes Wont Detect My Rom Files
« on: October 02, 2006, 10:32:00 AM »

I downloaded like an awesome rom pack from this site, but it seems that ZSNES wont recognize my roms? I did notice that none of the roms have a file extension, they are just simply files.....

if I were to rename all of these files, what would I rename them to? and is there a program that adds an extension onto massive amounts of files all at once?

someone please help me out! thank you for your undying support! cheers.

Just zip them all up with winrar. It can zip them all in one click. Problem solved. But if you want an snes extension instead, add a ".smc" to the end of every file.

By the way,

1) This is the wrong forum.
2) Never say you "downloaded like an awesome rom pack from this site" (unless you want your topic locked or you want to get banned). It's illegal and admitting it on a public forum is not the wisest thing to do.

Thanks for the heads up. I had no idea it was "illegal".

but anyways, yes, I just highlighted them all and just added them all to a seperate archive. so now all the roms have a .zip extension. thanks for the help.

X-S is not here to help you with downloaded roms as it is illegal. Please read the rules before posting again.
