Valkyrie Profiles & Vandal Hearts 2?

is there any settings to stop valkyrie profile from lagging when in battle?

anyone know if vandal hearts 2 will run on the newest versions of pcsxbox without the game freezing after awhile?

i would VERY much appreciate any help someone could give me...
