Hey just wondering if this is true analog stick or just the d-pad mapped to the stick. Also if so is both sticks working, I'm not sure on that one cause I thought you said in the past that wasn't possible. Anyways great work I just checked out version 16 last night and was blown away by it. Good job Xport and nice jobe on the skins neverwill. Amazing work.

P.S. If i want to put this on a cd is there anything I have to change to make it work?

Yep I think alot of us though xbox emulation was on it's way downhill for the last couple years and with the release of the 360. Thankgod there are great hardworking guys like xport to prove us wrong.

i just tested with iron man & man-o-war (Heavy Metal) the analog will not work correctly, after selecting it from the game config, and starting game. you cant press start to play game, other than that v17 works fine, keep up the good work

Has anyone been able to get 'You Don't Know Jack' to work? I tried it again with v16, but it didn't want to work (just hung on the Looking For Memory Cards screen).

Thanks

I tried Ape Escape and it just freezes after the screen that says something like 'An analog controller is rquired to play this game'
It turns to a black screen and I've got reset my Xbox.
Tried it with cores 14, 15, 16. HLE and BIOS.

Nice job on the new updates though.
Keep up the good work.

yankefish, try toggling the SIO IRQ option under CPU Fixes from what you have it on currently...see if that changes anything :/

As for analog support, tried it here in Road Rash - Jailbreak and it works as it should...it's not just mapping D-Pad directions to the stick, it's treating it as an actual Dual Shock/etc, where LThumb L/R is steering (gradual), and RThumb U/D is gas/brake. :)

I'd mention L3/R3 (thumbstick click) support, but I'm sure that's in the works...plus I can't think of a game that used them offhand that it could be tested with :P

Well he didn't say dual analog, but then the original pad didn't have any analog on it did it?

Hmmm odd.  I'll have to check this release out.

Err, yes he did...and yes, it's working on what I've tried it in so far, which is RR-Jailbreak as above, and Destruction Derby RAW (which has a neat little 3D model of a Dual Shock that animates when you move the thumbsticks around...the right one seems to have left and right reversed though :P)

Suggestion: Option to switch cores in the GUI

Xport if we have the ability to launch games with different cores, shouldn't there be an option to change cores in the GUI without loading a game? Ex. If I use the 1.6 core alot I wouldn't have to keep waiting for the emu to change cores when loading the game (being able to change the core manually within the emu gui).

It could go in the 'Utilities' menu.

Thanks.

Its been sooo long ago, but I believe when the dual shock first came out, Twisted Metal 3 was one of the first games to support it and to use the L3/R3 buttons.  I think that they were used as nothing more than another button that you cuould use your special from.
