Well gave this on a quick kick of the tires.

Well the sky may be blue in Rampage but the colors in the Beef Drop demo are waaaaaaay off now.  sad.gif  Nothing but blue skies now... and long awaited days..  laugh.gif

If I remember correctly (it's been a while since I followed the beef drop developement thread) but I think Ken placed some auto NTSC/PAL detection code in his game.  Maybe that is causing the colors to be wrong with the new color pallette..... Not really sure.  Here is a link to a screenshot of what it is supposed to look like (actually taken from a 7800 playing on a TV).

Also the sound still continues to play when a state is saved.  Two good examples to try are Beef drop, and Centipede.

On a side note.. What is all this "Garbage Directory" stuff I keep seeing hinted at in the menu's?

Oh and does anybody know if the emu's save the volume settings of the mp3 playback?  It always seems like I'm having to turn the volume down on these things in relation to the emulator sound itself.

Selectable palette in new version.   I don't really think the sound/save state issue is a big deal since the distortion goes away in about half a second (and doesn't even happen most of the time.)

Garbage directory explained in new version.  Volume settings are not saved.

Make new posts in v3 thread.
