Hey guys. This is my first post (in quite a while, now that is).

Anyways, Dragon Quest 7 no longer loads state in 15 in either save state mode (everything else in the game works). Even when experimenting with the new emu options, still no dice.

When I removed the saves folder to restart from scratch, I get stuck on the pcsxbox loading screen.

Xport. Great emulator port! I'm sticking with v14 for now. Happy coding.  Thanks, man. I apreciate all your efforts. You too, nesXXXX (i mean 6502) guy.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Thanks again for the time and effort put into the emu.

I am having a problem loading any savestate, regardless if i have the 'newer savestate' option on or off, or regardless of what core it is.  Every time I try to load a savestate in CV:SotN it locks up.

Also, enabling or disabling the trottle option to 'original' or 'fixed' doesn't seem to effect anything.

I too had the problem where after deleting the configuration .ini in the SAVES dir, almost every game I tried would hard freeze the XBox at the loading screen before it ever even got into the game, no matter what the per-game settings were..

If this is happening to you, then:

...go to Configuration > General Settings (Page 1) > Auto-Load Most Recent Save State?, and set it to No

Seems like an actual bug, since it'll even lock up the XBox if you change it back to Yes while a game is actually running (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

[Edit: Typo! Graw!]

What does "Included game configuration option to save the memory card data with the save states" do? (was hoping that it was an option for the games to share memory card files again like before, but that doesn't seem to be it).

Save states don't work here as well, even after disabling the new state restore option.

Ok, after a few testing here and there with this new version, here are some things I found out:

- The mere act of doing a savestate load (even if you choose an empty savestate slot, where nothing should really happen since you aren't loading anything) would result in a crash, even with the new savestate option disabled. You have to make sure to run all 3 executables and disable the "auto recent savestate load" before switching cores.

- 1.6 core crashed on me a lot of times, most especially when entering a game's memory card load screen.

- Seems like the throttle method isn't necessary anymore since using the "fixed throttle method" doesn't mess up the frameskip settings anymore like in v14. The only problem with it is the "screen going blank" bug.

- When resizing a game's screen size, the new settings sometimes do not save (might just be me doing something wrong).

I'll do another test run later and see if these happen to me again. Maybe I didn't install the emu right or something since all I did was copy paste it into my emulators directory (didn't touch the SAVES folder). Anyway, I really like all these SPU options, since they do help speed up some games.

Also the savestates i'm trying to load are new ones i just made from v15, and not older pcsxbox versions.

anyone know if it's possible to play Team Buddies on this yet? I remember trying some PSX emu's for PC a few months back but no luck (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I'd cut off left foot and beat someone over the head with it, if it meant I could play Team Buddies again!! After reading and applying what (georaldc) said about the autosave feature, v15 runs perfectly as of now. my sound is a lil off in tekken 3 but as of now i am very happy keep up the good work. there is a version on xbs that im using the puts the screenshots and saves inside the emu folder instead of on the E drive i recomment this pre-patched version.

If anyone has a Castlevania SOTN (USA version) save state that refuses to load, upload it somewhere where I can get it and I'll see what's what.
