Ok, after a few testing here and there with this new version, here are some things I found out:
- The mere act of doing a savestate load (even if you choose an empty savestate slot, where nothing should really happen since you aren't loading anything) would result in a crash, even with the new savestate option disabled. You have to make sure to run all 3 executables and disable the "auto recent savestate load" before switching cores.
- 1.6 core crashed on me a lot of times, most especially when entering a game's memory card load screen.
- Seems like the throttle method isn't necessary anymore since using the "fixed throttle method" doesn't mess up the frameskip settings anymore like in v14. The only problem with it is the "screen going blank" bug.
- When resizing a game's screen size, the new settings sometimes do not save (might just be me doing something wrong).
I'll do another test run later and see if these happen to me again. Maybe I didn't install the emu right or something since all I did was copy paste it into my emulators directory (didn't touch the SAVES folder). Anyway, I really like all these SPU options, since they do help speed up some games.
