Updated Neogenesis With The New Rumble Support?
« on: July 19, 2006, 06:48:00 AM »

Don't want to sound like a pest, but you stated before that the new rumble feature is now a core feature to be implemented in every updated emu.  I don't know how much coding is involved in it, but considering that NeoGenesis is near flawless, is there any chance to get a minor update of it with just the rumble added in?  With all of the other projects you're currently working on, I don't forsee you needing to update NeoGenesis anytime soon, hence this request.

I absolutely loved this addition with the NES, and was able to make quite a few great working setups for it (if you want to check out what I was able to do go here).  Everyone I know loves how it adds that little extra something to retro games, and gives more initiative to play them.  There are so many great games I forsee this working great on, such as the obvious Sonic games, Mortal Kombat, maybe Street Fighter.  Boogerman would probably be one of the better games to show off this  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) .  Also since they are in the same emu, Sega Cd games could also get this great treatment.

Thanks!

I know it's been rather a long while since I said "Vice is next", but I want to try and avoid continually going back to re-release ports every time some new feature is added that someone really likes.  It will just make the entire process that much longer because if I say yes to one person, then everyone else will start making requests and it really wouldn't be fair to honor one and not another.

We're getting there.
