I am building a arcade machine with a modded xbox and i am running MAMEoX on it. the xarcade controler now which  coin mech , coin slot , or whatever is the easyiest to use and installl? i know how to solder, run wired and stufff  and i know how my Xarcade and xbox work but i know nothing about these coin mechs.
i only need one coin slot please if n e one has done htis project b 4 wich coin slots did you use?

because i am using emulators and i figured people that look here may knowin case they had ht esame problem).the big question is y would u reply if ur just being a dick about it if u dont know dont b a dick( a moderator could of easily moved the thread if it was a problem)

To actually answer your question, there isn't a best coin mech to use.  Pick up whatever one you can find that fits your cab and your budget and your cab's style.  (go for ebay, get a beat up one, sand and repaint it).

Wiring for a coin mech is simple:
There will be 1 wire (and common ground) used to signal that a coin has been dropped in.  Wire that to whatever hack you've done to the xbox controller to add a credit/start game.  If your coin door has multiple coin slots, each one will have its own signal wire for coin.  You can tie them together so that either coin slot will send the credit/start signal to the controller.

If your coin slot has lights, wire them to 12volts taken off the main power supply.

Use a multimeter set to measure continuity/ohms to help you figure out which wires go to the mechs and which ones go the lights and you're all set!

I haven't build a MAME machine with an xbox, although I'm about to help a friend do just that.  My MAME machine is a standard PC in an old galaga cabinet:
