I get save data corrupted and wont let me play. I tried deleting all the saves in my E:\saves\xboyadvance\ dir and i still cant play. Can someone help me out please.

My advice would be to install a SNES emulator and try to run Super Mario All-stars, which in-cludes SMA4 as part of it.

Mine says that too but it still loads and plays fine. Even the save system works (tho it says its corrupted. Strange....).

From what i remember, there are about 3 versions of that rom floating around ( i know theres at least two...) so my advice is to find a site with two and download both. One of them works.

The strange thing is that it was working just fine until I switched back to the 17 core. Now it just wont play I even tried a few other versions floating around still a no go. I tried every version of xboyadvance from 17 up to 20.

So everytime you applied the new versions, did you delete everything in the old directory? I've had problems with leaving the roms in the directory while i change the emulator versions. I dont know tho...that's strange...

Maybe try setting the save type manually to 128K flash.... but you will need to make sure any old save file for that game is deleted.

Well I have all the three versions and the japanese version, which works, but the rest doesnt work. Every rom says "Your saved data is corrupted".

Before playing this in VBA for the PC I had to apply an IPS patch to the rom. It still said Saved Data Corrupt but it played and saved fine, maybe something similar here.

the IPS patch isnt needed... if you would have deleted the save it created then manually set the flash type it would have played perfect..
