Damn skippy. you know if someone really modded the shit out of the code. its could give mugen competition. well maybe not but it still would be possible to make a pretty good one.

The Mugen port has been in the works for ages, with zero release.

XPort starts to work on this, and we get two releases in just a couple days.

Anyone have some recommendations for good, working .paks?

Thats a stupid thing to stay, for one its not a mugen PORT, he's RECREATING IT OUT OF NOTHING.
actually its not even supposed to be called Mugen cause the only thing Mugen & OpenMugen have
in common is that sakir is aiming for compatability with mugen's character & background storage.

the ENTIRE mugen engine is being recreated from the ground up, CAUSE THERE IS NO SOURCE CODE.
sakir has NOTHING to work with, nothing to "port" he's making it out of NOTHING.

so yeah it pisses me off when people say "damn xport is a good coder he releases so fast not like that mugen guy"
ofcourse xport can release something, HE HAS A SOURCE CODE TO WORK WITH.

so many people here have absolutly no clue about what it takes to program or port something..

to xport : i hope you did not take offense to what i just wrote, i just felt it was unfair towards Sakir who's
spending alot of time to give us back a mugen clone simply because the original creators turned their backs on us and left us with nothing.
i love what you are doing for the xbox scene and i highly respect your programming skills.

i just felt it was unfair to compare porting to creating something out of nothing.

I'll be testing my Sailor Moon and Ed Edd n Eddy mods to see if this "remap" command fixes the grab or grab attack problems I had in version2.

Xport should be rewarded for the amount of work he's done perfecting the xbox port.

Damn it works beautifully. I love you man. I must have good timing. The day before v2 came out i decided to play some BoR. I havent played any in about a year and all of a sudden i downloaded some games. I got it playing on the Dreamcast when I felt how great it would be to play these OpenBoR games on the Xbox. I must be pyschic or something.

I can definitely report that both Sailor Moon and Ed Edd n Eddy both work on the xbox! Now that this great port is working for the xbox, I'll be bringing more of the openbor features into my Sailor Moon releases. Thanks again Xport!

I just wanted to take the time to say welcome to to XPort, as I hadn't yet. Secondly, thanks for this second update, the first had that sound error (there's still a minor click, not as bad as before), and would lock up/not run certain PAKs. Also, the ability to select a PAK to run is great, I no longer have to add x number instances of BoRX with the PAK I want to run.

Good seeing you back, and already youre making the kind of things happen we've all been waiting for for some time.

EDIT: One more thing.........plan to update the site, or does someone else do that for you?
