I have had a small problem running Astro Boy- Omega Factor, and Advance Guardian Heroes.  I've tooled around a bit with Savefile types, and BIOSes.  Otherwise, I have no idea what to tweak.  All I get is a white screen.

Thanks for the great emulators.

Also, I'll add that I have tried using some SRAM patching software on the PC before transferring the games over....

Thanks.

Question about using xboyadvance:

I downloaded the emulator & some roms. I placed them in the main directory & burned them to a cd-r but was unable to use.

I was looking for a tutorial or Faq on how to use or install but havent had luck.

any help or pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated thanks!!!

The pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Fire Red & Leaf Green games don't save right.  Can this be fixed?  Whenever you save and load the game, it says Save File corrupt, loading backup.  I think this is because both games use a 1mb flash but I could be mistaken.  Either way, it doesnt work biggrin.gif.

I'd asked before the game came out, and just tried the ROM. Mawaru: Made in Wario (Wario Ware 2,) uses a motion sensor, not unlike the GBC Kirby Game. I see that motion is mapped in the configurations, but Mawaru doesn't seem to support it.
I'd be really grateful for this to work. I've got the actual game, but for a party, a GBA is a little small, and the Gameboy Player... well, I don't wanna rotate my Gamecube... rolleyes.gif

This is more for pretty much all Xport emulators than just XBoyAdvance.

Is there any way to turn the game's music off? Like, the actual rom's music/sound effects.

I know people have complained about the music in the menu playing while the game goes on, but I occasionally would like to listen to an MP3 playlist while playing a game, and the only problem is that the games music gets in the way.

I had a good look around and couldn't find any way to turn it off, so, am I just blind and it's right in front of me? Or if it's not there, is it possible that this could be added to Xport emulators?

Thanks.

for ruby n sapphire its the clock, you have to set enable real gba cl,ock or something like that to ON when you first run those games, as for leaf green fire red, search on emulator section.. i explained what you need to do to get those running..

i got a hold of the latest xboyadvance and noticed there was no xboyadvance.ini file to setup everything myself.  was it taken out?  how would someon go about setting up the saves, screenshoots, roms, etc. directory?

i actually noticed the same "problem" in some other xport emulators ... but im not going to post a reply in each xport emulator topic.  i am going to assume that the answer i get here will roughly be the same for the other xport emulators.

I've looked around, so hopefully this doesn't get me an instant ban.  Is the network mode in XBoyAdvance intended for playing GB/GBC games across two Xboxs?  Because that's what I tried, and for some reason both of the systems are controlled by the server system.  Anyone have a clue?  Thanks for any replies.

Oh, if it means anything, I have tried this with both the same game and different games.  I tested NeoGenesis, it works without problem.  The games seem to be connecting as if they were console games :/.

I forgot one other thing.  I also tried two of DBZ: Goku Hishouden and DBZ: Goku Gekitouden on one machine with Dual Gameboys turned on, I got the same problem.  To my knowledge, these games were linkable.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe XboyAdvance has network play at all.
It has a split-screen function for original Black & White Gameboy games, as well as Gameboy Color games. Not Gameboy Advance games.
I could be wrong, but I believe the two games you mentioned were Gameboy Advance games. If not, I apologize, I don't follow DBZ too much.

Those two are original GB games.  I'm not sure if it has network support.  I got two Xboxs to connect and run two different games(Pokemon Gold And Silver).  They are just both being controlled by the first controller on the server system.

Something else I wanted to add.  I don't want to get banned for this because I know alot of people have asked about it before, but I haven't seen this particular question anywhere.  If it is possible to connect two Xboxs and play the games separately over them, then would GBA link support be possible by networking two Xboxs?  I looked up some info on the GBA link and found that at max speed, it'll go about 110K/sec.  Normal network cables go about 10 Mbit/sec, which is over 1000K/sec.  Anyone else see where I'm going?  I'm not asking for this to be implemented, I'm just curious.  I don't know the specifics on the GBA Link.

Sorry for double posting.  I think I understand the purpose of the network functions now.  Is it meant to play games over a network share?  So, you wouldn't need them on your Xbox?  Or, was it indeed intended to play on two systems?

I've tried the only network options I can find.  Both systems load two separate games, but both systems are controlled by the first controller on the server system.
