QUOTE(SydneyGuy @ Dec 2 2004, 03:03 PM)
When copying my ROM files to the XBOX (via FTP) it stopped after 256 ROMs had been copied and refused to do any more.   Is there a 256 file limit in a single directory?   It seems a little low but given that 256 is a significant number in binary I thought it may well be the case.  512, 1024 etc would have been nicer :-)

Do you have a Xenium modchip? I had this same problem and it turned out it was because I was transferring files while the Xbox was in the Xenium OS instead of another dashboard. Use the Evox or XBMC FTP servers to transfer files if you have a Xenium.

Hello. Sorry if this has been asked/answered already.... I didn't really have time to skim through all 5 pages. Anywhoo....

Let's say I had a Link to the Past/Four Swords ROM on my xbox. Would I and a friend be able to play the Four Swords aspect of it by simply plugging two controllers into the xbox? Or, is there another way, or no way? Please let me know. Thanks.

Also, let's say I had both the Golden Sun and Golden Sun:TLA ROMS on my xbox. If i were to beat golden sun, would it then be possible to transfer my game save over to the lost age, like the actual cartridges would?

Hi, I've tried the new No$GBA emulator for Windows...it has a cool feature you guys should consider adding. Having 4 games going at the same time...a GBA link on a single box. Is that possible to do on the Xbox console? If you could do this we could all finally play Four Swords! Lemme know

Is there a way to enable Real Time Clock so you can play Pokemon Emerald?

I've already used the IPS and SRAM patcher so it plays and saves on the PC version of VBA but you have to enable the RTC within VBA (options>emulator>real time clock) to get past that "Internal battery is dry" message when you start Emerald.

Can you enable RTC in XboyAdvance?

Thanks.

I remember seeing the 'real time clock' option when I started up a new game, that might fix your problem.

Anyways, here's mine: I cannot find any possible way to play Boktai. Is there a way to trick the game into thinking there's a solar sensor there?

For the sound bug thing, i believe the xbox is just not powerful enough to emulate the gba properly without frameskipping. If you check the readme again, i think it was refering to gb/gbcolor and not the gameboy advance for the sound timing fix. Im not sure, but every gba game I've tried to run always skipped on frameskip 0. Also, I read somewhere that the visualboy advance (which xboy is based on) has been getting slower with each new release. This I am sure of since some games that ran perfect with frameskip 0 on older builds started skipping when I got the latest version(i.e. golden sun 2).

In Donkey Kong: King of Swing, WHen you play the level Treacherous Twister. The game freezes. Is there a way that you can fix this problem?

A new VBA beta was released this week which finally corrects whatever timing bug was causing Metroid Zero Mission (and other games, I'm sure) to play slowly in areas even as the emu ran at "100%". With that in mind, this would be a really great update. I'm actually using V9 because that's the release before the bug was introduced, so of course I'm missing out on a ton of cool features I'd love to have access to. I know it's been asked before, but if you're still around Xport, do you intend to update the sources when the final 1.8.0 gets released?
