Well, I don't think this one has been mentioned yet...so I'll add to it.
Now, I'm not sure if it does this with normal videos (and the way I'm doing this is VERY unethical), so I'm just going to explain the entire scenario to you all:
I have a movie that I ripped into an .avi file (4.3GB) and tried messing with Nero to burn it to a DVD...but had too many problems. So, I came up with the idea that I would just use MagicISO and burn the .avi file itself onto the DVD and pop it in my box and play it with XBMC. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it worked! However, I noticed a rather strange (yet serious) problem. When I was playing the movie this way, I couldn't rewind the film at all. When I would press rewind (either on my remote, or my controller), it would actually fast-forward
Now, I don't think I've ever seen THAT problem before
Now, I've also noticed another problem with playing this movie that I think can purely be the cause of this unethical way of streaming the video. When playing the movie, it has a horrible lag. I'm not sure if this is because of the cache, the quality of the movie (a BlueRay DVD ripped into a DVD-R), or something else. If you have any ideas of a way to fix it, that would be great!
Also, just to recall the already mentioned problems that I have also ran into:
When playing a movie, it takes a long time to store the cache. In older versions, it was always instant. Perhaps an option for this would be nice?

And of course, I can't just mention problems without saying thanks. I love using XBMC and I've always used yours. I haven't found too many problems, and the ones that I have found, seem to be fairly minor. Not to mention, you have to love the updates.
I simply love the fact that you guys do this kind of stuff for free. I know how much time goes into one of these, not to mention keeping up with it with updates. I'll constantly be checking back to see what kinds of things we can see for the future of XBMC.
Thank you so much!
