So i am not sure where to put this, so i decided in here.  if this is the complete wrong spot then i apologize and mods can move/delete it.  Anyway...

i am currently running 3 modded xboxes all using x2.6CE chips.  their main basic function is to stream my movies from my desktop PC to to the 3 TV's in my apartment.  

On two of the boxes (the third is in my roommates room, and he doesent care) i will sometimes get internet and sometimes will not.  When i do have internet i can FTP to all three boxes no proble, and when i dont get internet i can still FTP with no problem i just can download movie info etc through XBMC (my dash).  

after many weeks of problem solving and troubleshooting XBMC i narrowed down the problem to this.  I am using a WRT54G router which has 4 ports on the back.  unfortunately i have 6 devices that use a wired connection.  to solve this problem, i took my roommates BEFSR41 wired router and set it up as a sort of bridge.  the way i did this is as follows; i have the internet going into the internet port on the 54G and then i have both of my xboxes plugged into two of the 4 available ports and in the third port is my desktop computer.  in the 4th port i ran an ethernet cable into one of the 4 ports of the R41 (not the internet port) and then plugged in the remaining 3 devices.  

one of the devices is my xbox 360 and i can play on live fine, the other device is my roommates xbox and he gets internet sometimes and the final device is a tivo which gets internet fine as well.

tonight when my xbox was not connected to the internet (even after several restarts) i tried a test.  i unplugged the R41 and BAM the internet was working on both boxes no problem.  so clearly by process of elimination the second router is the problem.

so my question is why is this happening, and since the internet works fine 100% of the time with my tivo and xbox 360 and they are connected through the second router, why is it that my internet sometimes works and sometimes doesent when two of the xboxes arent even connected to the second router?  What can i do to make this work correctly?
