Hi,

CDDB works now with XBMC.... Everthing works right again... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

May no XBMC Problem

Did anyone test an alternative DB with advanced.xml for CDDB ?

I seem to be getting a lot of freezing in this build. Where i am forced to hard reset the xbox to rid of it. Like just now I am using PMIII and under the network configuration i simply tried to go to "Servers" and it froze up.
Also getting connection refused when i try to FTP to it. I think i'm gonna put it into ERM and downgrade.

Cheers

Don't know if this will help, but I had the same prob a few builds back. Turned out my router was giving out the same IP address to my xbox and my laptop.

Weird and now it doesn't even let me FTP in from ERM either. It comes up saying i have FTP access at 192.168.2.103 port 21 xbox/xbox but i still get connection refused.

Guess i won't be downgrading laugh.gif

LAN/SMB video files are really slow to start. I've upgraded to rev10891 from rev10840 and both version have the problem. The last version I had before rev10840 was rev10538 and it started fine/instant.

paplayer and dvdplay still start instantly. Only mplayer delayes.

Another users noted something in the change log that might help:

    http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=4166506
2007-11-15 10758 added: proper detection of if stream is on local LAN changed: mplayer now only
prefills cache to 5% when file is on HD or local LAN, should allow quick startup even with rather large cache.

I've also tried lowing and increasing the default buffer with no luck.

I've since down-graded to rev10538 and files now start instantly.

Can anyone confirm if this issue from the previous two builds has been fixed??
