ya think xbmc would have some kind of download update kinda like the 360, since xbmc comes out with more updates and fixes than any system or program ive ever seen...
I only update this about once a year.

Hi.

How can I go to a exact moment while I´m watching a film.

In previously revisións, if you click in your remote, for example, 01 00 25 the player get you to the exact time 01 h 25 min 00 sec.

Now, i can´t do it. I have to use the arrows in the remote and this makes me  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cussing.gif)

Is this option still available ?

Excuse my poor english.

Thanks in advance.

this functionality was removed well before 2.0.0 even
EDIT: or it simply stopped working, we aren't absolutely certain which is true
EDIT2: we decided having volume control was more important and since there's no VOLUME buttons on a std xbox remote you can't get both at same time, it may be possible to restore the functionality you are after by playing with keymap

Hi,

thanks god for weekly buildings...

actually UPnP is totally bugy. XBMC give me a freeze while trying to make an UPnP Share. Also you get a freeze when you'll create a new UPnP Source.
Using Nero Media Home (2.5.16.0) on the PC for this.

The CDDB online DB has quit ??  XBMC is not able to get any informations for CD content. Also the advanced configuration it's not possible to change the CDDB source.....

After trying a few more CDs it does seem that CDDB has stopped working.
Sorry about earlier post..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

When connecting to CDDB comes up with error 3 Open Socket.
Used to work fine.
Does anyone know if this is a problem with the database site or XBMC.
And if there is a quick fix at all.

Okay here's my setup, I am booting XBMC as my default dash. Then one day I was watching a video and came across rebild index under video settings. To make a long story short don't be playing a video and IGR ( in game reset) while rebuilding index or it will kill XBMC. I tested this on the new t3ch build and it still killed it. I have been modding and on the scene for a long time and I just thought this should be known.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) If i am just crazy let me know too  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Hi,

CDDB: May it's possible to use the advanced.xml ?

XBMC Wiki says...

 <cddbaddress>
The address of the online CDDb database. You may set this to another freedb mirror if there is a more suitable one. Defaults to freedb.freedb.org

Did somebody already check this out ?

I am having the same problem as the previous build. When using IMDB scraper to get movie details, it misses out on a bunch of movies with numbers included the title. For example, "300" and "40 Days and 40 Nights" I am not able to retrieve the title even in the search results.

Once I visited IMDB and manually searched for 300. The results of the XBMC-IMDB Search matches to only Titles (Partial Matches) (Displaying 34 Results) and not the Exact Match!

Movie Theater Plug-in
==============
I installed it and it appears in the Video Section of XBMC. When I click on it I just get a blank empty area.

What is the correct way to make it work?

All my Videos are stored in F:\Videos\ Movies\

Should I be changing any settings to make it work?  unsure.gif

Any help greatly appreciated  biggrin.gif

This is going to be a dumb question, I know.   Will there ever be .pdf support on XBMC?

Thanks!

Add Source is a little buggy in this build.  Usually I copy over my User Data folder so I haven't used Add Source in a long time but I had to install XBMC on a different xbox and set up the sources again.  Basically the problems happen when I browse for new share and add a smb:// location.  XBMC only allows me to add smb://MSHOME/ instead of smb://MSHOME/"Comp Name"/"Media Dir"/ - if I try to do this it freezes after I select it.

I perfer the way that is currently freezing because it allows only my music folders to be seen in music and same with videos.  By only adding smb://MSHOME/ I have to pick which directory after "Comp Name" is selected as default.  Maybe I'm just not doing it right?  But I'm pretty sure this is how I used to do it.  I haven't upgraded in about 2 months so I can't really tell you how new this bug is.

One other thing that's worth mentioning is that I have Windows XP SP3 RC1, maybe they changed something about smb?  I doubt it but I thought I should mention it.  Apologies for the bad explanation, hope you understand what I was trying to say.

I noticed when playing music, at the Home/Main page, with a long Title name, the scrolling text is on the far left of the text box.

Long Title

Short Title
