Boot Msdash From Xbmc?
« on: December 07, 2007, 01:44:00 AM »

I'm sure that on a very early version of XBMC I saw the option to boot into the MSDash.

I can't find it now.

I've checked the wiki and searched on here, but can't find any info.

Is there a way to load MSDash from within XBMC?

Thanks.

There are a few I can think of off the top of my head, but perhaps the most cosmetically pleasing is to create a shortcut and drop that in the root of your applications folder.

It depends how much you want to use it.  You could just go to Filemanger and load xboxdash.xbe (or whatever your xbox calls your xboxdash), you could add it to the favourites, or create a shortcut to it as Bomb Bloke suggested.

Personally I use a shortcut xbe saved into my apps folder so I can load it from any dash, but its really all down to preference.

Thanks guys.

The shortcut route seems like the way to go.
