Thanks for the updates. I never noticed the AOL plugin before, was it there always? And is there a way to play all the music videos like a playlist randomly instead of pick a video one at a time?

By the way keep up the good work, it gets better everytime biggrin.gif

could be a quick fix as it seems the top row is too low making the whole field too large

(PAL 4x3)

Cannot reproduce... i even switched to 4x3 and grabbed EXACTLY the same info you have and it works perfect here. Maybe calibration or something? i assume you probably recalibrated, to fix it i could do with knowing what you have changed from defaults regards calibration, zoom, changes to the xml.

I recently did a full reinstall of XBMC thinking this would fix the problem, but it didn't.

Whenever I tell XBMC to make my Apps flder the default source for programs, it still just send me to the menu that says Apps Emulators and Games when I hit programs. It has been doing this for what, 10 builds now?

Any advice, or is this a bug.

The last few builds I've noticed a video playback problem has come back. It's like a shimmering effect / waving edges on any movement in a scene. I found turning off 'post processing' fixed it in earlier versions but that's not been a configurable option in a while and the problem seemed to have gone anyway. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hi

Ok, I'm doing my head in as my XBMC seems to have gone mad on the last few updates.

I use to be able to connect to my PC with putting the IP address to play media files.

Now all i get is Connection Refused etc.

I tried booting into my other WinXP copy and it seems Ok, but I don't understand.

Would WinXp stopped access to the XBox? as I can still FTP from the PC so am a little confused.

The only thing I got from the log file is this

ERROR: SMBDirectory->GetDirectory: Unable to open directory : 'smb://username:pwd@pcname/myvids'
                             unix_err:'16' nt_err : 'c0000008' error : 'Invalid handle'

Thanks

Since no response I have worked on this issue over the last few days.

I resolved it and now am  biggrin.gif

All back to normal

If you want to know how

Here you go.

I solved the issue by editing the registry and putting in this.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters

Added

DWORD value

IRPStackSize ( only add if it don't exist)

I put in the data value of 12

My XBox can connect to any share and this is even without putting in the IP address which was the only way I could before.

I can simply now browse and Add any Location

Example

MyStuff listed in the available drives
which is smb://mypc/mystuff/ as the source

Also I do not need a username or password to access the shares.

Thanks

T3CH,

Thanks for making it easy for us to stay on the cutting edge.

Anyone has problems creating bookmarks in videos ? I'm unable to create a bookmark or use the remember where I stopped the video to resume playback

running the latest build (11/04) on XBox 1.6
