No, because it is a plugin, not a script. Add it to your sources.

From the original post:
* AN INTRODUCTION TO PLUGINS
XBMC has a system for Media plugins to allow browsing of remote content (Internet) using the regular filesystem approach.
Plugins are put inside >>XBMC/plugins/<video/music/pictures>/<< (I already do this for the one/s I include), furthermore they also need to be installed as a source in (video/music/pictures).
You do this install by using the contextmenu choice >>Add New Source<< while in ROOT list and then choosing ***Plugins as source.
Then you highlight (not select) the folder of the plugin you want to install. It will be saved inside sources.xml for future.

After you add the plugin as a source, then you can add it to your favorites menu, by pressing the white button on the source and selecting "Add to Favourites".

Can anyone tell me why when I scan my movie collection via smb into the library (all movies have nfo files, most have imdb links, some have all the info, some have thumbnails) the movies that have local thumbnails show the thumbnails in library mode, while all the others don't show the thumbnail until I go to movie information, then when I return to library mode the thumbnail is shown.

Questions for the team:

I live in North America and am using XBMC on a standard 4:3 television.

When I unpack the latest build, I only see the .xml files for the Proj Mayhem III skin in the PAL directories - not the NTSC.  Am I supposed to be using the PAL version of the skin, and applying a negative zoom?

Also - which .xml file do I need to edit to point to the locations where I have my emulators stored on the E: drive?  (Or is it just easier to get one of the new Emu scripts like Retro-X and configure that?)

Thanks for helping out an XBMC n00b...

I thought the only difference between standard PAL and NTSC was the display refresh rate (something XBMC deals with automatically when the need arises).

If you want to be able to get to your emulators, create a source, and make it default if you so wish. The white button is your friend. Note that certain skins (eg. MC360) have "hardcoded" defaults, so in the case of the emulators you'd need to call the source "Emulators".

This sounds really inspecific but I upgraded to 10-21 and 10-28 from one of the September builds. With both these builds I have noticed a drastic slowdown in FTP speed using FlashFXP, and also in copying across SMB and viewing video files stored on an SMB share using XBMC . I havent changed anything else. Before I start doing lots of checks I have done a little browsing on the forums and nothing seems to stand out. But is this a known issue with recent builds?

Hey All

Just wondered if its me but does anyone else find that most of the shows, movies etc don't work on the new AOL plugin?

I either get a "test asset not viewable" message or the file won't stream at all.

thanks

Seems like some movies (28 Days Later, 1408, etc.) no longer works with IMDB lookup.

Having a problem with party mode when playing my music with this build.  It doesn't seem to generate any songs from my library like my previous build.  Tried a fresh install but it didn't have any effect.  Anyone else had the same problem?  Might grab the latest build and see if that helps.
