Auto resume from last position is no longer working in this build.

I've tried numerous files and I can't get it to fail. Does not matter if it's local, streamed, in a RAR or unpacked. It works everytime.

Still wondering why it's not possible to fast forward in certain files when streamed, like this one:
http://videos.revisi...-large.xvid.avi

It did work prior to the Mplayer being updated (3 t3ch builds back). Now the only way to get it working is to click "Rebuild Index", then it works. That takes forever though when doing it on a file over the net.

Yeah I would also like to see a skip option within stream files. Furthermore I can't find the this new option:

2007-08-26  10098  added: ability to skip directly to dvd title menu, enable in video
settings (only works on some dvds)

I doesn't show in the video settings screen.

skipping to menu:

The label for that was accidentally forgotten by elepus, so if you see a checkbutton without any text, that is the one smile.gif

How do I add my music videos to the collection? I can choose movies, TV shows and so on - but I have a lot of music videos that I want to have under a category named Music Videos  tongue.gif

I'm assuming that your talking about the Video Library? If so, you can't really add to that I don't think... you can't add a folder or anything like that... so what I do is I put my music videos into a playlist that way I can go to the playlists section of the library to access my music videos.

Ps: how would I be able to delete the new "recently added movies" and "recently added episodes" sections of the video library... I'm thinking I would have to edit an xml or something in the skins themselves but I can't seem to find what it is that I would have to do... Furthermore, on this note what would I need to edit to perhaps use different icons for the movies, tv shows, and playlists folders in the library...  Thanks for any replies...

not necessarily a 'noob' here, but I have not updated XBMC in over a year now because the version I have running works great with audio & video.. but once again the IMDB lookups have failed, I posted this same question on the XBMC forums and got directed here to this site showforum=62 .. I have lost track of where to get the latest compiled build from  sad.gif and I know it is an 'illegal' question  uhh.gif  but for the love of XBMC where the hell is it hiding now???  You can pm me if that helps.  thanks

I don't know if anyone has noticed but if you use digital sound then play a dts dvd the volume control doesn't actually work until it hits 0 then it just mutes the sound altogether, also like mentioned before is there anyway of fast forwarding for rewinding when streaming videos from another source it also refuse to fastforward or rewind when watching dvds, just wondered when this will be fix as this has been a problem with dvds for quite awhile now, apart from that i think XBMC is an excellent program i've been using it since it was called XBMP.  biggrin.gif
