The thread in concern is linked in my sig.

Aside from that particular example, it'd be nice to be able to integrate all "programs" into one place, even if they aren't technically the same type of program. Shortcuts also provide a nice solution to providing scripts with "long file names".

ps3 upnp isn't possible at the moment. apperently one need to add some additional protocol info to make it show up on the ps3, will look into what it is.

my ps3 sees "xbmc media server (ip)" or something like that and i can browse the database for music (despite "artists") and for videos. but the ps3 doesn't find any files in an albumfolder or episodes in tv-series for example. it gives a network error.

i surely hope that this will work one day!
cheers,

Just updated right now & guess what,  XBMC does not display my video thumbs no more. Now I'm gona've to scan over 280+ movies manually to get the pics again.

just wanted to point out this incase its a bug, from my part I just updated to latest svn thats all!

If you haven't updated in a few weeks a change was made to the video thumbnails storage system. Its like music thumbnails now with 0-9,A-F. Just sort your current thumbs by first letter and put them into the correct folder.

aye, I didn't update for 3 weeks but now looks like I'm gona delete the entire thumbnail folder and start from scratch sad.gif " maybe next week".

as I said 280+ movies Impossible 4 me to sort thumbs by first letter unless there are other solution. + I reverted back to the One I used earlier. TBH cant bother to do this stuff again.

It's just renaming the filename. So it's not that hard. Just copy over your video thumbs folder to your PC and run this as a .bat file inside the folder :
CODE
md 0 | move 0* 0
md 1 | move 1* 1
md 2 | move 2* 2
md 3 | move 3* 3
md 4 | move 4* 4
md 5 | move 5* 5
md 6 | move 6* 6
md 7 | move 7* 7
md 8 | move 8* 8
md 9 | move 9* 9
md a | move a* a
md b | move b* b
md c | move c* c
md d | move d* d
md e | move e* e
md f | move f* f

ahh, cool! will give it a go. Thanks

hey I was wondering what exactly this meant... Is it now possible to set icons for the Movies, Television, and playlist buttons in the Video Library? If so, than how? I couldn't find a way, so it's probable that this function is something else entirely... anyway I also have another question. The new "Recently added..." sources in the video library, is there any way to get rid of them? I'm sure they are useful to many people, but I'd prefer if I could remove them.

I've have got the latest version, and I get intermittent hissing sounds now, when streaming from my PC.

I never had this problem the version that I had that was at least 5 months old.

I have flushed out all traces of the last version, the udata, tdata etc etc.

if you had actually read my changelog message you would have realized that

1) this is skin - not user controllable
2) its for assigning icons to the video library nodes (from the skin). those are the filenames of the icons used. instead of having the standard folder item for all of them a skinner can now make them look a little bit more exciting.

Thanks guys for all your hard work in creating yet another great build.
Had one issue with the XBMC Scripts Downloader not working but it seems that its a problem with the website and not XBMC.
Once again many thanks.
And thanks T3CH for taking the time to create these builds.

Svn Rev10100 = Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 (Terminator). Looking back, I guess the future will realize where Skynet really started!

Great build number to go with my PC skin  I have for my Xbox smile.gif

Auto resume from last position is no longer working in this build.

I'll be using XBMC soon and I was wondering what issue your having here? Could you be more specific?
