I think you can send it in to have it installed. I wish they would use sockets like a normal pc :-p

I don't see the point in it myself as you only get a 20-30% decrese in loading times and apps/dash's don't do things that much faster. The only thing I've seen it useful for is N64 roms.

well there is about 2000+ mame roms that require the 128 to run and of course n64 needs it bad

I'm pretty sure the ram upgrade doesn't improve xbox game performance a bit.

maybe but the point is: emulation is slower then using the actual architecture because you have to emulate the entire console not just the processor of that console. So basically you've got the entire N64 (memory architecture, bus architecture, processor, controller ports, memory cards, expansion pack, etc.) running on the processor in the xbox.

ph34r.gif  If you`re a Mame freak like me, you`ll know that are great games in this emulator that don`t work (some work with sound disable) without the 128MB ram...Just a few examples like: "Darius Gaiden, Elevator Action Returns and Dungeon Magic" but there`s other  beerchug.gif dozens good games(in mame) that you`ll play if you upgrade. N64 emu will load the roms faster and with less lags in game play...
