Anyone tried connecting his/her Sony Ericsson W800i mobile phone to Xbox as a USB drive? Will get the adaptor if it'll work.

I tried my K750. It only started recharging, no pop ups, anyone else tried a sony ericsson phone?

here is something you can test to see if the stick is "xbox compatible". leave stick connected and enter msdhasboard gamesaves. if stick works with xbox, msdashboard should AUTOFORMAT stick as FatX (xbox native filesystem)

The pendrive isn´t xbox dashboard compatible, It just can´t format the pen...so this means xbmc wont recognize the pendrive??

09-10-2006 fixed: fat memory units with a sector size different from 512 would not load, now 512, 1024, 2048 and 4096 should be supported.

Will this help?

Hello

I have a question where you're not answer here ... what is this USB : 1.1 or 2.0 ?
To know if it is faster or not ...

Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Different USB specs.  1.1 is older and much slower.  2.0 is faster and backward compatible.

A 1.1 device works in a 2.0 slot, it just doesn't make the device any faster.  A 2.0 device will work in a 1.1 slot but be no faster than standard.

And the kicker...the Xbox is USB 1.1 so connect whatever you like but you'll only get 1.1 performance out of it (adequate for the purpose).
