Rewind On Videos Doesn't Rewind...

This is interesting. I have a video file, about 700 MB large .avi format, in E:\VIDEOS that won't rewind. I hold down "L" and it just freezes for a second, and when I release, it jumps forward about one to one-and-a-half minutes. It is quite annoying.

Now, if I trigger-finger the "L" button (Quickly press repeatedly) it will rewind, but pretty slowly.

Now, because I've always figured that too much information is much better than not enough information (When helping people, I'd prefer to know everything than nothing at all), I'm going to give a general outline of my box:

*Softmodded
*XBMC 2.0.0
*XBMC as main (and only, not including official/stock) dash
*AVI file
*696.3 MB file
*Located in E:\VIDEOS (Default video folder)
*XviD

P.S. I have very little know-how in the modding world, I modded this box less than three weeks ago.

I think I've read that XBMC can't Rewind/Foward properly since it is based around Mplayer, which cannot do those functions. Or something like that.

That same thing happens to me.. it is very annoying. I don't think there's much anyone could do to help (try tweaking your cache settings) other than that i don't know.

You can push start, and use the gui rewind

Or you can use the right thumb stick - slide left or right.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing, but it is annoying because the right stick rewinds much too quickly. Oh, well, it isn't that big of a problem, thanks for the help!
