I couldn't get XBMC to play FLV files over my network. Is this just a networking problem, or does XBMC just not play FLV files?

To my knowledge FLV isnt supported. Use a program like MoviePod to convert flv into mp4, then you should be able to view them.

Here it is when I just select the FLV file:

Nothing comes up in the log when I try to play it with DVDPlayer, the system just locks up.

please, debug log. hold x+y while xbmc starts.

that only tells us 'something went wrong'. that we already heard from u.

i`m experiencing the same problem , i`ll post the debug log later.

it plays small flvs just fine but when i try to play some of the 40+mb flv i have (dowloaded from dailymotion) it just hangs and i have to restart the xbox.
