Smb Not Workin
« on: May 31, 2006, 04:16:00 PM »

Ok i just reformated my computer because of some intense virus that i had, and before all this happend i would use the WORKGROUP (Smb) Network option to listen to my music from my computer, but now that i reloaded the machine this option doesnt work and i cant get the smb shares to work either, any ideas?
I forgot to mention that i cant ftp into my xbox either, which is probably part of the problem

delete your xbmc game save
re-configure your home network on your pc to the gateway setup as a workgroup (no domain)
restart both, and try again.

also dont have any stuff on, and is your xbox getting an ip address on the same subnet as your computer?
