Problem With Streaming! Need To Cache A Big File, Wtf?
« on: May 22, 2006, 08:06:00 PM »

Hey all.

I got a TV show in XviD format, 3 seasons as a matter of fact, and I have watched MANY shows before without a problem, and still can when I try ANY other show, but, for some reason when I try and watch any of these episodes from these 3 seasons, XBMC keeps giving me a damn popup saying "Need to cache a big file.  Continue?"  And if I choose YES, it takes like 5 minutes just to copy!

Can someone PLEASE help me!  What is going on?  Why wont these stream?

I've checked my CACHE SIZES inside of the settings, and they are as follows

Video/Audio/DVD Cache - Harddisk : 256kb
Video Cache - DVDROM : 4096kb
 - Local Network: 8192kb
 - Internet: 2048kb
Audio Cache - DVDROM: 256kb
 - Local Network: 256kb
 - Internet: 256kb
DVD CAche - DVDROM: 4096kb
 - Local Network: 4096kb
Unknown type Cache - Internet: 4096kb

ANY HELP would be Greatly appreciated ASAP!!!

Thank you so much in advance

don't compress your rars stupid (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

no way to seek in compressed material so it has to uncompress them prior to watching them.
