Hi, just wondering if I am nuts for having 5 Xboxes running XBMC throught my house!!? Anyone else this nuts?

i know a friend with 5 xboxs with mdia center and unleashx with 2 xbox 360s all in a huge entertainment network with a 720p projector. ya its nice =D

All my boxes run XBMC, except my 360

. And I have a Crystal with x3/LCD, MS Blue Crystal, Halo Green.. have a smoked but I haven't got it up and running yet (modded).

no way man. thats not nuts. xbmc is the bomb when it comes to dashboards. ease of use major options to mess around with. unreal support. never really had a problem with xbmc. now evox i have had nemorus problems with that dash. the only complaint i really have about xbmc is the lack of skins for the newer builds. everytime i dl one it always is never supported. and i know you can mess with the xml file to recoqnize them. but once you start messing with the xml file. one wrong move and you may have to start all over again. plus the newer ones look nicer. lol

I've got 3 of them.

1 V1.6, X3ce, X3CP, X3ir, 120gb HDD, XBMC dash
1 V1.6b, X3ce, 160gb HDD, XBMC dash
1 V1.0 DuoX2 Lite, 320gb HDD, 250gb HDD, running 24/7 as a Linux media/file server, XBMC as dash

I'd like to get at least one more, but it'll have to be wireless, and so far, I haven't been happy with wireless. So I don't know that I'll make that jump.

We have 4 networked. One in 15yr olds room, one in ours, one in living room, and one in the little girls room (they watch lots of spongebob streamed).

Its a no brainer with 150 movies, 200 tv shows, and tons of music at the touch of a remote.

An xbox game gets played about once a month so basically its just because of XBMC.

I have 3 fully modded X3CE xboxes networked throughout my house. 1 crystal clear, 1 crystal blue, and 1 black. I'll have some fun halo parties on poker nights!

for those streaming videos...

what kind of quality videos do you shoot for?

i was using xvids, but i feel quality is too low, especially for my HDTVs...
