I've found a strange bug. I can't play any videos via SMB when the resolution is set to 1080i.

1080i works fine locally with vids on the Xbox, but as soon as I try to play a video from a shared folder, nothing happens. Changing down to 720p/480p etc works perfectly.

@kics, That bug was fixed. Are you using T3CH April 12th Build? It should be fixed in this version.

Nice skin animations  pop.gif

Anyway, a simple bug...if you get into My Music, hit play a song.....then go back to home screen, again into my music, home screen again, and the skin doesnt show the milkdrop in the right, just show the pictures, like if no song is playing... blink.gif

Cimlite, AVC is working for me incuding xbmc freindly extended profile 5.1. However, there is limits to what resolutions and what features within AVC the hardware of the xbox can handle.

this is a feature. it works like this:

While on HOME screen:

controller: BLACK
remote: MENU

hides/shows visualization/movie

this is in changelog, which should always be where you look before asking, maybe a lesson learned for next time ?

trainers still don't work
xlink still can't see games on hdd

Hi there!

I always use the latest build and usualy I detect all bugs that are anounced here (at least the majority), but this one... I haven't yet! I used xlink yesterday for the first time with this build (I always put xbmc in a new folder and copy my custom xml's there) and started configuring xlink kai. Nothing wrong. Only some kind of "detect servers/don't detect servers" (forgive my bad english) in PGR2, inside the game. Can't be sure if "server" is the write word.

So, can you be more specific?

Ok, thanks  biggrin.gif
BTW, I allways look at the sourceforge changelog, since 03-30-06 wasnt working for me.  ohmy.gif

Anyway
- 12-04-2006 changed: filenames from local harddrive are converted to UTF-8 as bioses like the Evox M8 Plus can support GBK charset

Xecuter 4983 supports GBK charset?

xbmc cvs is down, to view any new changes you'll need to signup on xbmc mailing list or download the change log from here: :pserver:[email protected]:443/cvsroot/xbmc

There's an error message on XBMCscripts.com ... is that why I can't load any scripts using the installer after updating to this build? Everything else seems to be working fine.

Browsing of SMB shares doesn't work for me on ONE of my servers. Both are XP. Didn't on the build from 10th either. Have to downgrade to 3-28 for it to work.
This is the error log msg:
3:27:40 M: 35233792   ERROR: SMBDirectory->GetDirectory: Unable to open directory : 'smb://mycomputer/Series/'
                             unix_err:'7' nt_err : 'c0000022' error : 'Access denied'
03:27:40 M: 35233792   ERROR: CGUIMediaWindow::GetDirectory(smb://mycomputer/Series/) failed

I also have problems with my SMB share on the two last builds.
On this last build "April 12" I can brows my SMB share from "My Files" but if I try via My movies it just freze up (does not give me any info in the log file). I have editied the .xml -file to use the same setting that has worked before, did a clean install (del 0face, del XBMC dir)
Does any one, experience the same thing or have any sugestions on what to do ?
I can post the log file, but it does not give a error msg (that I can find)

apart from this there are some greate new features, big thaks to all of you who has made XBMC the greatest mediacenter a poor man can buy  love.gif
