but do they show up clearer? and i would assume it would take longer to load because of the quality.

once i used your larger icons, the tect appeared much clearer than before... if you want a good example of this, compare the two different sizes for arx fatalis.

I made some with the 256x256, and by using just s-video connections to the tv, i couldn't see much of a difference to use them. Maybe with component output on a HDTV you would benefit. But i looked closely with a few done in 256x256 and a few done in 128x128, and couldn't really see much difference at all. But does make a difference when xbmc is loading them. Just some info for ya.
