Cannot Ftp With Xbmc

I was using evox as my main dash.  I swapped over to xbmc as my main dash and have not been able to connect to xbox through ftp.
I'm not sure what build it is as it has been a while since I installed xbmc.  It has a date of may 2005.

Of course I read this already.  If I would have found something to help me, I would not have asked the question.

I did nothing funny to the build.  I got a working version.  All I want to do is to be able to ftp to my xbox so I can remove the xbmc I currently have and reinstall & upgrade to the latest build.

1: XBMC 1.1.0 was released Oct. 17 2004 and as your dates to 2005 it´s not it.

2: Unlikly you compiled yourself.

3: May 2005, hmmm, no T3CH release then... Get February 12th 2006-T3CH

You may have read, but you didn´t understand what was said. Nuke your old install and redo the installation step by step.

This is exactly what I want to do.  
I need to be able to ftp to my xbox to do so, this is my issue.  Is there some other way to connect from pc to xbox besides ftp?

Use another dashboard to connect via ftp then redo the XBMC installation.

I changed to the xbmc dash through ftp.  What do I need to do to switch back to my evox dash?  this is what I cant figure out.

Make a bootdisc. PLEASE read, befor asking. You would have fixed your problem 10 times over if just the will to read had been there....
