Nt_status_object_name_not_found
« on: March 06, 2005, 05:58:00 PM »

Hey all,

All of a sudden I started receiving this error when loading up XBMC and going into Workgroup.

Anyone have any clue as to how I can fix this error message as I can no longer get to my PC from my Xbox on the network

Any idea would be great.........

Thanks

If I ever get this error, I either find a newer release or compile my own and it works fine again.  Try avoiding releases from third party groups if you want to avoid errors at all costs.

I have tried several releases of media centre and still the same error each time - in fact it was working fine then one day turned the machine on and went to workgroup and there was the error........

I've had this problem, all I did is disable all my shares and run through xp networking wizard again, reboot then setup my shares again. check that you can still connect to your xbox via flashfxp if not there be a connection problem somewhere probabley not xbmc

Sharepath where?

This was working just fine with my Xbox setup with static IP and the media centre set as dashboard........

using workgroup I shouldn't have to change any settings in any config - correct?
