You can customise all the keys in the keymap.xml

CODE
     FastForward music
     77
     forward

     Rewind music
     78
     reverse

along with a <gamepad></gamepad> entry

If you do that you will lose the ability to jump up and down lists with the  L & R triggers, in any of the the "My *" views, unless you have re-mapped that command

"rightthumbstickleft" & "rightthumbstickright" are available for use and don't have anything mapped to them yet

cool :)

although just thinking aloud- there are some people who'd want skip forward/back whole songs, and some would want ffw/rew current song

personally i use it for skip forward/back

doesn't bother me eitherway- it can always be edited by the end user in keymap.xml :)

although having said that there are some people who want to maintain homogenous control of video and audio (so L +R triggers would do ffw/rew in both video and audio)

in that case could remap the list cycling currently L + R triggers to the right thumb stick- just for those wondering what the possibilites-decisions decisions ;)

p.s. i'm not suggesting these changes be made in cvs
