Why Does V1.0 Onwards Have Messed Up Relax Support
« on: July 24, 2004, 08:33:00 PM »

I know that the XBMC don't officially support Relax shares but after trying SMB when V1.0 first came out I have to say that I prefer Relax and the way it works.

Why are Relax shares unable to navigate subdirectories in all new versions of XBMC?

Sure I could set up my config file so that each individual directory is listed but thats a bit of a pain.

Any ideas/tips?

u dont need to setup for each directory, just put your smb://ur ip and u should be able to view all files and folders shared.

I tried ccxgui - wasn't very impressed. As stated, I've spent quite a lot of time experimenting with file shares and Relax is the best one. I couldn't get half of the others up and running in a 100% way - any good tuts?

Why do the later releases of XBMC not allow subdirectory navigation under Relax?
