Happy New Year, MC360 XBMC Skin 1.0 nearly complete.

Hey guys, Blackbolt here. I would like to firstly say Happy New Year to all our users and those that are just passing through. I hope this year is as successful for our Team as the previous year was. Ok onto business, MC360 final build, 1.0.10xx will be ready for public consumption very soon. Jezz_X and I have been battling each side of the jobs to do with furocious speed this past week. I have covered the graphical needs and Jezz_X has been hammering the code. Alot has changed since our last public release on Sept 28th 2006, so we are going to include a total indepth changelog with the new build. I have included a screenshot below of the latest version as of now, you may be able to notice some of the graphical improvements bringing the quality right upto the real Xbox 360 dashboard. Thanks for being patient and its not long to go now before you can all sample the delight that is a years hard work for us all. Click the image below for a bigger 720p Preview.

Awesome,

So this release will contain full 720p support?? Out of curiosity now, will the XBMC Live be there on the release or will it come later?

Looking forward to this! Great work!

Will this support fullscreen 720p? I love widescreen, but fullscreen is just what I got. tongue.gif

NOTE : Sorry if this is a noob question, but I haven't really been following XMBC alot lately.

btw BB, "Alot has changed since " --> A lot smile.gif but I'll let it slide, taking a writing class right now, other wise I wouldn't say anything ...

That and I love this skin way too much to care about what you have to say, skin on!

First off I want to say mc360 skin rocks. It was enough to make me ditch evox.
Second, I have one request, add a feature that will make mc360 choose a random theme (.xpr) upon startup.
I would love to see it randomly choose a different theme every time I performed in game reset or a cold boot.

Technically, thats an XBMC core feature, but I guess something could be done in python and done on launch somehow. But I won't making that feature for our 1.0 release.

When you connect via Xlink Kai it gives notifications, much like 'Xbox Live!'  Of course you need a Kai engine running on a PC on your network, toss that on server and off you go! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Question: Is it just me or does the BB360 logo on the notification look stretched?  Doesn't seem that way on my current skin ... (I'm looking at the lightning bolt)

It says that because the skin has just downloaded my xbox.com gamercard information. Upon every boot into the skin/XBMC if you using MC360, it downloads the gamercard information if you have set up an Xbox.com gamercard to the skin.

This is not one of the Kai toasts however.

Yes the logo is still using a low res graphic which hasnt been updated yet, just one of the few jobs left to do. biggrin.gif

I too *really* want Fullscreen support at 720 (and 1080 if that is an option)

I have a fullscreen 1080 screen.  It was the best tv I could afford at the time (and the largest with 1080 support)
