Xbox Copy Files To Hdd

whenever i try to get FTP working it never does, so i was wondering is there anyway to put files onto a DVD & copy them onto my Xboxes hdd & if so how ? btw im using XBMC as my dashboard.

Yes. DVD-R , CD-RW media preferred in that order. I managed to find a brand of DVD-RW which worked with my Samsung. Burn at low speed. What brand is your xbox dvd drive? IMHO this is wasteful use of the media though. You can also use an USB flash drive (4Gb or less) if you have a xbox-usb adapter cable. But it's a bit of a fluke to find a compatible USB drive for the xbox as it is a hit or miss affair for a given brand.

iv got a Samsung drive which reads every DVDr iv ever put in it, so how do i copy the files from a DVDr to my Xboxes hdd ?
