Dvd2xbox 0.7.8 Wont Boot

Im working on installing software on a friends xbox and I have a problem with dvd2xbox not booting. I first used AID 4.01 to install DVD2XBox 0.7.8 on his hdd. I booted it and it came up, well i was browsing the skins and after selecting the 3rd skin it goes black....i was like ok so i rebooted the xbox and i wont come up at all. So i delete the AID 4.01 copied verison of DVD2Xbox. I go to a well known French Xbox site grab DVD2Xbox 0.7.8 copy it over to the HDD and it still will not boot. Ive also deleted the cache, gamesave for dvd2xbox to fix the problem with no luck can someone help me out here? thanks

I was looking on these forums to find the solution to the exact same problem!!! I tried uninstalling and reinstalling using AID 4.01 disc. But it hasnt helped at all. Dvd2xbox still boots up to a blank screen.

Found out the solution to that problem after doing some searching on the internet. Here's what i did to solve it:

Deleted the 'dvd2xbox' save game
Deleted the folders e:\tdata\0facfac0\ and e:\udata\0facfac0\ using file manager on my xbmc dash.
Rebooted the box, loaded the dvd2xbox application from xbmc dash and it works fine with the skin back to PM3 (which is the default on this version).
