i'm running the latest version of configmagic, nowhere in the changelog did it state certain eeproms aren't comatible with certain version mobo's... yet when i search the forums i hear things like "v1.0 eeproms aren't compatible with anything other than 1.0 mobo's".

I was under the impression that configmagic automatically recognises the xbox version it's running on, then changes the eeprom accordingly, regardless of the version.

I don't know what to believe.
