Cd/dvd Burning Application For Xbox?

can xbox burn a cd/dvd? can samsung dvd drive do that? i read in the other thread that using a burning program in xdsl it can burn a cd/dvd.
there's a bunch of cd/dvd burning source codes in the net ("cdrtools" for e.g) so why isnt there a cd/dvd burning application for xbox?

You can burn CDs in the Xbox if you replace the drive with a CD burner and run Linux on the xbox. You can't burn with the regular drive (it's just a dvd reader) and you can't burn from non-Linux homebrew (kernel doesn't give you sufficient access to the IDE controller).
