Don't download the madden rster update.. the file shows up as ???? franchise grr.gif

all the time I spent adjusting my roster to resemble the latest trades, and free agency is down th drain.

This is a great update to an awesome application.  I've been using it since 2.0 and am impressed with it.  

The only problem I have right now is that the ESPN NFL 2K5 roster update shows up as a corrupted file when you go to load it in the game.  I've tried removing it and redownloading it but ended up with the same result.  I'm wondering, has anyone else tried using it?

I finally tried this out yesterday and I was very impressed.  Good job guys.  I understand there is a lot of interesting content under development and I was wondering what is the criteria for selecting the content available for Project Memisis?

If they made this more live compatible then maybe there would be some people playing these maps on xlink.
This is on the front page of x-s, yet only about a dozen people are playing (on xlink). My guess, as with the last update, after a week or two it will be 0 players.
All they need to do is give the option to install to a different directory and release some ppf patches.
This just seems like too much work to go thru for so few people too use.
Why alienate so many possible users?

it is a prgram that you put in the apps folder of your xbox...it allows you to download user created maps etc for games like halo

I know a few people who won't use this because of the risk of being banned from xbox live / matchmaking. I believe a majority of people with an xbox and a highspeed connection use live and therfore are afraid to use mimesis.

I mean, maps are installed in the same folder the game uses. So, if I install the halo 2 maps they go into a directory bungie scans for modded maps. If they were installed to a differnt folder (for example 'mimesis') I could launch my original disc without fear of being banned. I could then launch my backup of halo 2 with a hex edited default.xbe that looks in the 'mimesis' folder for use on xlink/xbc/system link.

Of course this would just be an option, maybe a checkbox.
If not checked install as usual.
If checked install too mimesis directory.
