Help With Linksboks
« on: February 26, 2006, 06:02:00 PM »

I have no idea how to change my Ip address. How do I change the numbers?
I type in a url  and it just says "finding host" or something like that, but it nevers goes to the site.

All right, I did that and changed my things in Linksboks and it still will not work. Is there an alternative browser I can use?

I hear that I can use Linux, Is there a way to install that with FTP?

Even though I have the DNS set up, it still says in the linksboks troubleshooter that I have a DNS problem, what the hell is wrong?

ummm...if your running  linksbox your running linux on your xbox...
anyways, set on your dash to use dhcp, dunno why but linksbox ties in with the dash to some point when it comes from where it was launched...

go into the settings/options in linksbox and change them to DHCP (get ip automatically) then you aint gotta worry about punchin in numbers..

make sure you go back to options and "save options" and then restart linksbox...
if it still dosent work, check to make sure your xbox has a connection to the net, recheck that you have everything set to DHCP and if your still having problems, leave another message in the thread

Just push the left thumb stick in, thenmove it to where the ;etter you need, then push the corresponding number to that color.
