My mistake, dumb. Need some insight and direction.

Softmoddin 2 xboxs. Prepared the HDs on my 1.0 modded XBOX, softmodded the other 2 1.6 xboxs. Used configMagic 1.6 on both softmodded XBOXs and used the eeprom.cfg from my 1.0 XBOX. After updating eeprom only get a black screen. Yes it only took 2 xboxs to figure out that a 1.0 eeprom wont work on a 1.6 eeprom. in any case, case someone tell me or direct me how to restore the eeproms back to normal, and instead of using my compelete eeprom.cfg if i should only use the serial/hdd key?

Any and all useful help would be appreciated. At least one of the XBOXs I bought recently without opening so I can return it back to EBGames, the other XBOX is my brothers, and so looks like if I cant fix this, then I have to eat the cost of another xbox.
