I've never noticed the ads, b/c I always have AdBlock running on Firefox.

The ads have been running on the top of the forums pages for a long time now, except I think they took a bit of downtime after the software upgrade while Xantium was tweaking the new Invision board to get it running smooth.

That has nothing to do with it. You have popup blocker but there is no way to disable ads. Look ate the top pf the web page and you will see it.

you obviously don't know what Adblock is. don't u think i'd be intelligent enough to see if i seen any ads b4 posting that? im not an idiot. adblock takes ads including banners out of pages.adblcok and popup stopping are two different things...

http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/central.html
https://addons.update.mozilla.org/extension...&numpg=10&id=10

u should try them out

I never said you were an idoit. I didnt know there was an add-on to do that. It's kinda dumb though cause those ads are what pay to keep this site up and running.

You are right.
I think.
Before the upgrade I definately 100% NEVER had adverts after logging in, because I was using the IPB blue skin and X-S hadn't intergrated ads into this skin. However since they upgraded the boards they have now made it so that there is an advert at the top of even the blue IPB skin.

they are not bigger ... ads have always been a variable size with the leaderboard (728x90) as max size.
