Ok im currently awaiting my new unlocked hdd to get here. in the mean time i want to get informed on using a mod chip.

couple questions

when i dl apps, they come packed (rar files). do i unpack them before FTP'ing them to the xbox?

what apps am i gonna want (or even need)?

what are some of the great things i can do with a modded xbox (i have xecuter 3ce, with a new, but still stock hdd)

first of all, i would advise you to read. alot.

unrar files, the "install" them as shown in my sig
you'll want a dashboard, xbmc, dvd2xbox, and whatever else you need.
great things...uhhh, you can back up games, play homebrew games and use homebrew apps. you can mod some games. you can use linux. you can play dvds and basically all media with xbmc.
