XIG2 and the XDK can accomplish what you are wanting. Read over the other threads thoroughly as there is a lot of information in them.

oh, and atomoxic: you can take captures of Halo2.

xdi and xig are what you need to know.  Check the utilities that run on pc forum page.  Everything you need to know is there.  Also, search for "screen captures", you should get some good old threads to read.

And yes you can take h2 shots...see...
