Wake On Lan
« on: August 05, 2005, 08:10:00 AM »

Hi Guys not sure if this is the right place to ask this but basically I use my PC as a server I have all my MP3 and AVI's etc stored on there via a shared folder.
I always leave my PC in S3 Standby is there any way using XBMC or any other tool that  I can send the magic packet to the PC making it wake as I really dont want to leave it on permanently.
thanks.

I'd like a Wake on Lan that worked to wake the xbox tongue.gif
I cant see it being a software mod but it would be great as i would not want my xbox on all the time, but i dont like having to go and switch it on either ( i use it as a media station downstairs).

Does anyone have a version of this script saved?  The script that you download from xbscripts only has an 'updater' script that downloads the newest version from the guy's site.  unfortunetly, his site is down, so no sciprt for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
