Regardless of where you save your games, the CACHE folder is always on the E drive.

Delete it's contents, and everything on X, Y & Z...

Should fix your problem.

ok... i'm at my xbox now...

I tried to clear the cache folder on E and the one localfile001.bin will not delete... i had two in there and deleted both and the one remained, so i'm assuming it's currently using that .bin for something and won't allow a name change and/or delete of any kind...

also, i have no x, y or z drive?  is that an issue?

seems like i have my dash loading media center from the Q drive and i have a G drive with some junk in it...

my burnt games that would not play still wont... i'm copying up a game now and testing again.

any ideas on why my games launch into the blackscreen, hang, then return to media centers home page? !?

attempted to burn 2 more games and they worked after clearing the cache and burning the discs..

so is it naive of me to think that clearing the CACHE will allow the games, that i'm having problems with that are already burnt, to work?

thx

anyone out there with any help on this?

cache is cleared... burning games and after i launch the .xbe it flashes black and returns to the dashboard place.

Wondering if there is an issue with burning when there are files with mediacheck?

thanks
