Would it be possible to port an existing 'Go game to XBOX. I am setting this as a challenge to any reading homebrew developers.

There is a PS2 version of the game commercially available but while the game is very popular in Asia and Japan, it is not so in the West.

I am asking mainly for my Dad, who teaches 'Go' applying it to various events and learning, he now uses an XBOX I 'upgraded' for him to show various media in presentations, perphaps uniquely, not owning a single game original or otherwise.

Try a google on the game, 'Go' or 'Goban' if interested, his website is www.zenmachine.co.uk. 'Go' is referred to as 'The Most Challanging Game in the World' around as complicated as playing four games of Chess at once, with no computer able to beat the best human player, yet!

A friend of mine plays this. About a year ago when I did the T.V. streams on XBMC, there was an official "Go" channel! Its in Korea, and its called "Baduk T.V." - The game is called Baduk there.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think there was a GO created by MS and released as an xbox live game, kinda like how they did the Arcade Hits thing. Actually, now that I think about it, it might have been a Japan Xbox Live promo... But I REALLY remember seeing it somewhere for the xbox.
