From what I've seen in the past couple days is that the programmer for Linkbox IS working on a new version, he probably just has real life commitments like the rest of us and so it is not his top priority, so you'll just have to wait until it's done.  Just take a look at a couple posts for Linksbox in the past few days and you'll see him posting about it.
