Installing Dvdx2?

I've searched and got nothing, I need some help installing dvdx2. I've tried just throwing it on my HD and trying to run the .iso, but of course that didn't work. Any help would be welcome.

And no, it doesn't require Avalaunch to run.  Any dash will work assuming it has a FTP server running.
